Several connection configurations are being considered for the proposed Tullaghmore wind farm project, taking account of existing and planned transmission infrastructure. The Screbbe 110 kV substation is located south west of the proposed project. 

 

The preferred connection strategy of the project features an internal collector circuit and onsite substation which will export electricity via a 38kV underground cable to the existing substation at Screebe. Any connection strategy will not be finalised until a connection offer is made by Eirgrid.

A grid integration study will be carried out in conjunction with Eirgrid and would commence in 2022 once the planning process has been completed.
